Fire And Ice

My heart has turned into ice and fire;
It burns with intense fervor,
And it is freezing cold as well;
Hence, it has become dual.

My heart blazes ardently
With utter passion to consummate me;
On the other hand it is as cold as ice,
For you did not keep your promises.

Journey

My journey so far has been so hard;
It began with walking through pleasant grassland,
Then through the Scorching desert
Where I desired the mirage, athirst;
I swam through the fierce oceans
And was beaten by the tides,
Now I am standing at the edge of the Hades
Where the burning fire wants me dead;
All the way through this journey
I have lost myself, my reality;
Now standing at the mouth of abyss,
Should I fall to rest in peace?
Or should I continue my voyage
To find myself peace and sage?

Perfectly Imperfect

Perfectly imperfect I am,
Flawed in my very nature -
Emotionally swinging from
Intense nourishment and nurture
To arrogance at times,
As tides in the ocean water
Ebbing and flowing as rhythm;
I am an oxymoron all the more
With all sort of mannerism,
And medley of various behaviors
Bound together in a human form -
In a perfectly imperfect creature.

Penning the Pain

Whenever I am in despair,
I bleed on paper.
That is the only way to drown
All my sorrows and mourn.
Because words we speak might fade,
But what we write will never vade.
I am sensitive but strong,
I will never use my words wrong.
I will write until I perish,
Which is the only joy I cherish.

My diary - My emotions

A myriad memories fill my thoughts,
As I open my diary that slept aside
In my book shelf more than a twelvemonth -
'A reverie of agony and pride.'

I see the girl who I used to be -
A talkative and lively girl
With a life of joy and felicity,
Living in an insouciant angle.

Her life turned upside down
From delight to anguish,
When she met a man
Who left her in a lurch.

But she used the pain as a thrust,
And rose again vibrantly,
As a woman with potent -
'A lesson of emotions she learned in her misery.'

As I close my diary,
I feel tears flow from my eyes,
Recalling the emotions of ecstasy and worry
That had been dormant for years.

Broken Wings

I stand between life and decease
With my wings broken,
As an angel in remorse
Betrayed by the entrusted one;
A catastrophe was my love
That broke me apart;
I stand all alone now
At life's outskirt,
Thinking whether to live or quit;
At last I quit, not my life but him.
My wings are broken not my heart,
I still am an angel in my realm.

Glory in Change

Glory in Change

Intelligent and studious was she,
Knowing what she wanted to be;
She had plans for future completely.
But one day a storm struck her uncertainly,
Her life turned chaotic suddenly;
Without knowing where to journey,
Or what to do subsequently,
She locked herself in privacy.
Time passed eventually;
She stayed alone hopelessly.
But time did not go vainly,
It taught her humbleness and modesty;
The arrogance of her intelligence flee,
Changing her benevolent and friendly.
Of course, change is not easy;
But now she glows wholly,
As a full moon gloriously.

Lesson

Lesson
When I see my reflectionIn the mirror hanging before me,
I see a different person -
From who I used to be.

How much have I changed
Just within a year!
I am utterly astonished,
But the changes were painful to bear.

I perceive how I have evolved -
A talkative, arrogant girl
Has been thoroughly replaced
By a humble, introverted girl.

The one who used to see
The faults in everything,
Has learned to observe the beauty
Even in imperfection and failing.

Is this how life teaches us!
Is this how we are ought to learn!
A laborious lesson as base,
To make a girl emerge as a queen!

Wanderer

A wanderer is she
Roaming around lonely
In the woods of her destiny;
For she was deserted by her deary,
Who used her as his play.
The one who had called her honey,
Has now abandoned her inhumanly;
And now she walks around solely
To find her life's responsibility;
How will she face the society,
That will mock her cruelly?
Will she ever rise up from the injury,
That has killed her without pity?
A Bonnie is she
Ruined by that beast of prey;
Time will heal her agony,
Her bleeding heart will replenish eventually,
As a Phoenix will she rise lively,
From the ashes to vitality!

THE RED MOON

Her eyes were red full of tear;
Because he fled leaving this dear.

She was a doe with fair,blond skin;
He ditched her though, with a silent din.

The eyes of innocence stole her heart:
Then his absence tore her apart.

She was fain, but chose him still;
Now everything is vain, she's weak and ill.

All her dreams and anticipations turned upside down;
She now screams; in her own tears she's drown.

But, he wasn't ignorant as she thought;
He was a miscreant, and it was a dern plot.

When she came to know that all was fake,
She melted like snow in the dawn awake.

All his false promises struck her marrow;
A damsel in distress, an ensnared sparrow.

The blonde turned pale, sick and feeble;
Because of that male, unfair and label.

Yet, she bloomed, back from the wilt;
Again she formed, wading as a stilt.

The Red Moon rouse to set aflame;
Resembled the Mors, the red mist dame.

She found her valour, got back to sane;
She's a Scarlet lour, who'll never wane.
