Pleasurable Poison

I am a relaxant,
I am so pleasant;
Have me a little,
Let us travel
To an imaginary domain,
And be on cloud nine;
Drink me, honey,
And fly with me;
I will caress your brain
And secrete dopamine;
Once you feel my pleasure,
I won't be your leisure;
You will crave for
My lustful flair;
I am delicious,
I am luscious;
Once you have me scant,
You are my addict;
I am handsome,
I am a venom;
But I will give you bliss,
I am drug in disguise.

Haunting Deeds

I am at the skirt of death,
In the stage of exiting the earth;
But my sleep is not tranquil,
For I had done much evil;
Wicked were my deeds of past,
That haunts me each day and night;
I had done so many sins,
Which can never be forgiven;
I was a cruel beastie,
Who plundered people's money;
As I'm nearing death I regret,
For I had been a brute;
The deathly seeds I had sown,
Are now completely grown,
Waiting to be reaped,
Gathering my deeds;
What is there to do at all,
To save my soul from hell?
I have decided to donate my property,
To the poor, needy and to the charity;
I wish this saves my soul,
When I lie in my charnel.

Gossip

I run behind your back,
Chasing you relentlessly;
I will cause you ache,
Putting you in despondency.

I neither care about your dignity,
I nor care about your status;
I do not show partiality
Which is my sturdiness.

When I come before you,
I will hurt you like sword;
Listen to me, you will be in blue,
If you don't, you will be honored.

For I ain't to be praised,
I come through other's envy;
'Gossip,' I am called,
I can only be killed by fidelity.

Miniature Me

I felt the divinity when I saw your eyes,
Half opened in your peaceful slumber;
I adored your tiny pink lips that notifies,
Through your twitching about your hunger.

So tender was the touch of your hand,
That clasped my finger tight and sturdy;
Magical was your smile in your nod,
Revealing your toothless gums completely.

I treasured your glittery spittle
That oozed every time you were fed,
You gave me an inestimable title,
'Mother,' that none can ever accord.

I began admiring you from the day
I confirmed that I was pregnant with you;
I am grateful to God and I pray,
For you are worth the wait, and I love you.

Life and Death

As fire and water,
As light and darkness,
There was another pair
With love very intense.

Life and death they are;
Life was graceful,
Death was somber,
But they were a passionate couple.

Life was so dedicated to death,
It measured each person
By their action on the earth,
And determined the reward of everyone.

Death to life was so genuine,
It judged without prejudice,
And rewarded everyone
Fairly without any bias.

Music

Heed to me, I will console you
When you are sad and feeling low;
I can tranquilize your worried mind
With my tune, mild and kind;
I can elate your joy and glee,
When you are excited and peppy;
I can put you to deep slumber
With my lullaby soothingly tender;
I am found everywhere,
In your cheerful laughter,
In the windy air,
In the flowing river,
In the rainfall,
In the birds' warble,
In a child's infantile chuckle,
Not only in instruments invaluable;
I can never be shut within,
I'm music, limitless without margin.

The Luna

She arises at the twilight,
Wading and waning throughout;
Among the stars lies her throne,
Where she sits and reigns until dawn.

Accompanying her comes the cold breeze,
Beautifying her lovely presence;
And the fireflies fly along,
Humming their lullaby song.

The world glows with her silver Luna light,
Which is vivid and lustrous at the night;
She disappeares at the crack of dawn,
Veiling her elegance from the Sun at morn.

Karma

No matter where you are,
I will find my way back to you,
To reimburse your share,
Either felicity or woe;
That depends on your behavior
With others around you;
Don't you dare
To cause them waterloo!
If you think of being unfair,
You will certainly repent and rue;
Always try to be honest and sincere,
And I will render as a crown to you;
Life is a rondure,
Nobody can escape from my view;
I reflect what you are,
I am karma in camouflage show.

Child Education

Take her to school,
Don't give her pan and ladle;

Give her books to study,
Not broom to sweep and tidy;

Give her education,
Don't leave her in the kitchen;

Let the child live her life,
But not as somebody's wife;

Education will be her backbone,
When she has to stand alone;

Education will be her power,
In the time of crisis and disaster ;

If you give her education,
You're empowering a nation;

Let her study,
And beat up the slavery;

If a girl child studies today,
She will be the future of her country.

A Brutal Death

Her parents were waiting in the mortuary,
To get her body after autopsy;

Her mother was wailing striking her chest,
Her father wept silently hiding his regret;

A tee and a long skirt were shown,
To see if those were the clothes she worn;

When her mother saw the blood stained skirt,
She cried aloud with all her strength and did faint;

That was something no mother can bear,
Her moan and whine, the whole premises did hear;

Their daughter's body was brought,
She was like a flower crushed while extant;

Her face was full of bruises,
Beaten and bitten for bliss;

The injuries revealed the brutal death of the child,
Ravished for pleasure by a rabid fiend;

What punishment can he be given,
For voraciously raping the preteen?

What can equalize her parents loss,
Sentencing him to death by laws?

What can comfort her parents,
From the life long bitterness and torment?

Forlorn Love

I never knew she'd leave me,
Besides all these years of ups and downs;
We have shared our woe and glee,
We had been together in our needs and abundance;
She was my fortune and felicity,
The vitality of my soul, my essence;
But now as she disappeared suddenly,
Our sweet home resembles a wilderness;
Without realizing that she rests in the cemetry,
I am seeking her everywhere in our house;
The years we lived seems like reverie,
Now I live all alone with her memories.

Dearie

She understands my silence
Even when I am afar,
She knows my throes
Even if I do not utter,
She knows I am joyous
By gauging my simper,
She gives best advices
When I am in chaos and fear,
She knows all my secrets,
All my virtue and blunder,
She comforts me in distress
But she is not my lover,
Distance never matters
For unfailing is my dear,
She knows me en masse
She is 'my friend forever.'

Definition of Love

What is love?

An infant girl would utter,
It is the affection of her parents;

An adolescent girl would whisper,
It is the fervor of her sweetheart;

A newly married woman would swear,
It is the piety of her consort;

A mother to be would aver,
It is the sound of her fetus' heart beat;

A mother would declare,
It is keeping her children gladly radiant;

It is only the love of father and mother,
That has no expectation or intent;

Every other love on this sphere
Has some aspirations and quest;

The love which is flawless and pure,
Is always from our parents.

The Greatest Grace

Someone asked her what was the greatest grace;
She smiled and replied ripe old age and health.
Despite her million times folded face,
Her candy floss hair that were veiled beneath,
Her hunched back that made her traipse,
The death of her husband that killed her underneath,
She said that she was blessed and joyous;
For she never burdened her children with
Her presence which could be an annoyance,
She said that her well-being at this age was her wealth.

Palace of Love

She is my most beloved,
The true love of my life;
Now as she demised,
I am incomplete without my wife.

My dearest wife departed,
While giving birth to our child;
This misfortune I never expected,
That puts me in agony so wild.

Even though she is dead,
I want to keep her with me;
Adore every moment we lived,
And forget my melancholy.

I will build her a lovely palace
Made of precious ivory marble,
There I will entomb my empress,
My dearest consort, Mumtaz Mahal.

Our love will live forevermore,
Even after we rest in our charnel;
Our love will be exalted everywhere,
Through her tomb, Taj Mahal.

Queenship

The queen bee reigns,
Solely over the swarm
Of the workers and the drones,
Dominating the realm.

She is the only fertile
And royal female in the hive,
The Supreme authority that rules
Over the other bees alive.

Her special egg is fed
With special royal jelly,
The exclusive among the brood,
The next imperial queen bee.

If any fertile worker found,
Conflict arises then;
The queen will have them abandoned,
For only hers is the throne.

Mad As A March Hare

The wind that blows
Whispers your name,
The sun that glows
Reminds your fame,
The dew that snows
Reminds the touch of your hame,
The rain that endows
Reflects your affectionate brame,
Everything that revolves
Emphasizes you, my flame,
You're the one, my love,
Who makes me go crazy and lame.

Dearest Clock

Dearest clock, why can't you stand still?
Why can't you go reverse?
For greatest was my ordeal,
And tremendous was my loss;
I couldn't be normal,
For impossible is her recurrence;
The one who cared me with all her soul,
Is now resting in the necropolis.
Each day I seek her in all,
Without realizing she was matchless,
She was incomparable
In love and kindness.
Please make me whole
By bringing her back to the universe;
Dearest clock, once and for all
Render her soul again to the cosmos.

Revelry After Rue

What vanishes from your presence
Does not belong to you,
Be it the sadness
Or the one who causes you woe,
Be it the scars
That were once black and blue,
Be it the restlessness
That hits in the dawn and dusk, too,
Eventually they will evanesce
Leaving you trail of joy in queue,
Never drop your confidence
For it is the only courage in your blue.

The Lone Flower

When I awoke,
I was breathing alone,
Standing in solitude.

The vast area resembled a nook,
For there was none
Other than me in the grassland.

At first I shook,
And trembled in consternation,
As I was abandoned.

There was none to look
Or care me in the terrain,
I was neglected.

One daybreak
I got rid of my confusion,
And the truth I realized.

It is not an offense or lack
To stand alone
From the crowd.

For only the spark
Of the sun and the moon
Matters, not the solitude.

It is better to be unique
And shine on your own
Even when isolated.

Sumptuous Sakura

With the shade of pink
And immaculate white,
I bloom and wink
When the winter departs.
Who wouldn't like
My fragrance and scent,
That spreads till the brink
Of all the Japanese districts?
I am the beauty of the bailiwick,
"Sakura" of Japanese descent;
Adore me at the summer's outbreak,
For I am Japan's endowment.

Grotesque Beauty

I might be thorny,
I might be ugly,
And worthless to ye;
But once I prosper,
You all will wonder,
That I am full of splendor;
For I ain't barren,
I may bear spine,
And appear gross and saturnine;
But I store myself water,
Which no plant can minister,
Other than me, ever;
I bear beautiful blossoms,
Which are enticingly full of charm,
A beauty over the ugly stem;
And I bear fruits,
That are delicious and sweet,
And are healthy to the heart;
Do not underestimate others,
For they are weird and queer,
Never judge a book by its cover.
