When I awoke,
I was breathing alone,
Standing in solitude.
The vast area resembled a nook,
For there was none
Other than me in the grassland.
At first I shook,
And trembled in consternation,
As I was abandoned.
There was none to look
Or care me in the terrain,
I was neglected.
One daybreak
I got rid of my confusion,
And the truth I realized.
It is not an offense or lack
To stand alone
From the crowd.
For only the spark
Of the sun and the moon
Matters, not the solitude.
It is better to be unique
And shine on your own
Even when isolated.
