The bitter past that had been killing him everyday
Eventually petered out when he saw her the first day;
She was different unlike other girls, she loved books,
And she never gave any importance to how she looks;
She was so quiet, yet her silence was loud,
He admired that quality how her silence spoke without a word;
When he looked into her eyes, he forgot himself totally,
And she felt the same, and drowned in his look crazily;
There was no conversation between them,
Yet their eyes spoke intensely with vim;
One day he mustered up his courage to propose her,
She waited for him at the same place where they saw each other;
He went on his knees and held out the bouquet of roses,
She turned aside and neglected his proposal with tears;
She had her wedding invitation card in her hand,
Which she trembled to give and lowered her head;
They parted their ways which was ought to be one,
Their unspoken love remained forever unspoken.
